Molybdenum Sheet Applications
Molybdenum sheet applications are widely, mainly due to its high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, high strength, corrosion resistance and other excellent properties. The manufacturing processes of the molybdenum sheet are as follows: mixing - pressing - sintering - molybdenum blanks (raw materials) - inspection - hot rolling - annealing and leveling - caustic - test – warm rolling - vacuum annealing - test - cold rolling - leveling – cutting - vacuum annealing - test - packaging.
After a series of rolling process, the deformation amount of molybdenum sheet is more than 60% and its density is substantially close to the theoretical density of molybdenum, so it has high strength, excellent uniformity structure and high temperature creep properties properties, which can be made into reflective screen and covers used in sapphire, reflective screen, heating tape, connections used in furnace vacuum furnace, sputtering target used in plasma coating and high temperature boat and other products used in various fields.
Molybdenum sheet can also be used for high temperature furnace. Molybdenum sheet furnace is mainly used for tungsten carbide, tungsten nickel alloy, tungsten copper alloy, titanium alloy and other metal which is sensitive to carbon atmosphere production.
