Molybdenum Forming Methods - Explosive Forming and Centrifugal Forming
Molybdenum forming methods - explosive forming can also be called high pressure forming or explosive forming. This method relies on explosive powder as the pressure to make gunpowder around the powder evenly and in the water explosion for compression molding. It uses high pressure produced in a very short period of time during explosion to press the powder.
In the centrifugal molding, the powder is loaded into a mold and mounted on a high-speed rotating body, and the centrifugal force is applied from the center to the outside to help forming. The centrifugal force is single-phase pressure, but because the pressure directly on the various powder particles, therefore, the product is more uniform and more compact than other pressing method.
