Molybdenum Electrode Used for Glass Wool Manufacturing

molybdenum electrodes

Introduction

Melting raw material in the glass melting furnace to produces the molten glass, the molten glass is sent through the device to drain perforated plate, with high-speed wire drawing to obtain glass wool. Molybdenum electrode in glass furnace is as an important heating part which plays an important role for high-quality glass wool manufacturing. Good quality molybdenum electrodes can be obtained not only high-quality glass, and can extend the life of the electrode and the glass furnace. High density and high purity molybdenum electrodes are most conducive to the high-performance glass wool production. Internationally molybdenum electrode component content is 99.95% and density is greater than 10.15g/cm3, in order to ensure the quality and service of electrode and glass.

Glass Wool

Glass wool is one of glass fibers. Glass fibers commonly used drawing, blowing and other technical to produce longer fibers and not entwined filaments, namely glass fibers. The fiber wound into irregular groups is called glass wool. Glass wool having good shape, small bulk density, low thermal conductivity, thermal insulation, sound-absorbing, corrosion resistance, chemical stability and other properties are widely used in industrial plants, warehouses, public facilities, exhibition centers, shopping malls, and a variety of insulation indoor playgrounds, sports stadiums and other buildings for reducing acoustic noise and heating preservation.
