Molybdenum Telluride Production Processes
Molybdenum telluride production processes are as follows: at 430 ℃ molybdenum can react with tellurium within 15 minutes and at the high temperatures can form MoTe2 (MoTex x = 1.88 ~ 2) and Mo3Te4, the chemical reaction equation is: Mo + 2Te → MoTe2.
Molybdenum can react with sulfur, selenium and tellurium to form a series of homogeneous compounds with. Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), molybdenum diselenide (MoSe2) and molybdenum ditellurides (MoTe2) is heterogeneous compound. The corresponding element combines in sealed vacuum tube at high temperature, which can form these molybdenum compounds.
