Ammonium Molybdate Physical and Chemical Properties
Ammonium molybdate chemical and physical properties are as following, it is kind of white crystalline, also known as (T-4) - ammonium molybdate, ammonium tetramolybdate and diammonium molybdate. It is easily purified, easy to dissolve, easy to thermal dissociation and after thermal dissociation the NH3 gas can be sufficiently heated with escape and will no pollute molybdenum products. Thus, ammonium molybdate widely used as the basic raw material to produce high-purity molybdenum products. For example, ammonium molybdate after thermal dissociation can produce high purity molybdenum trioxide, to use sulfuretted hydrogen and sulfuretted ammonium molybdate to produce high purity molybdenum disulfide. Besides, we can use ammonium molybdate to produce molybdenum-containing chemical reagents. It can also used as a basic raw material to produce molybdenum catalyst, molybdenum pigments and molybdenum chemical products.
Ammonium dimolybdate [(NH4)2Mo2O7.4H2O] can dissolve in water and alkali and it is suitable for the molybdenum trioxide and molybdenum powder, molybdenum plate, molybdenum wire and molybdenum products production, but also it is widely used for hydrogenation, desulfurization petroleum refining catalysts, chemical fertilizer catalysts production.
Ammonium tetramolybdate [(NH4)2Mo4O13.2H2O] is slightly soluble in water and soluble in alkali and ammonia. It can use for hydrogenation, desulfurization oil refining catalysts and chemical fertilizer catalysts production.
Ammonium heptamolybdate [(NH4)6Mo7O24.4H2O], also known as ammonium paramolybdate, it has high water solubility, widely used for petrochemical catalysts production, in particular acrylonitrile catalyst. Besides, it also can be applied to agriculture and molybdenum product production.
Packing: it can use woven bags, fiber drums and drums for packing and inner packaging should use double sealed plastic bags. Woven bag can use for 25kg, 50kg and 1000kg; fiberboard drums can use for 25kg and iron drum can use for 50kg. Finally, the products should be sealed.
