Molybdate Red
Molybdate red is a red to red-orange crystal. It is insoluble in water and oil, soluble in inorganic acid. It can produce by lead nitrate, sodium dichromate and sodium molybdate with a certain percentage.
The differences between molybdate red and cadmium red:
Molybdate red is a pigment containing lead chromate, lead molybdate and lead sulfate. It has bright color, high color strength and high hiding power. It usually used with organic red pigment, used in coatings, inks, plastics and other industries.
Cadmium red can be used as temperature coatings, fluorocarbon coatings, high outdoor weathering coatings, outdoor plastic products, plastic window profiles and masterbatch and so on. Cadmium red is widely used in the enamel, ceramic, glass, paint, plastics, art paints, printing inks, paper, leather, sand color building materials and electronic materials industries.
