Ammonium Tetramolybdate
Ammonium tetramolybdate is a white or slightly yellow crystalline powder, slightly soluble in water, soluble in alkali and ammonia, divided into α type and β-type, β-type divided into common type and drawing type. In addition, according to different applications it can divide into MSA-1, MSA-2MSA-3 three brands.
Ammonium tetramolybdate（(NH4)2Mo4O13.2H2O） has widely application, mainly used in dyes and pigments. It usually as raw material for molybdenum powder, trace element fertilizer, ceramic pigments and other molybdenum compounds production. In addition, it can be used as hydrogenation, desulfurization oil refining catalyst, chemical fertilizer catalyst and artificial wool catalyst. Beside, it is a good catalyst agent and fire retardant fabrics. It is also often used as photography, powder metallurgy molybdenum, ceramic glaze, paint, and medicine’s industrial raw materials.
